Wonderschool Conder is Ready to Walk Alongside your Child Through Life’s Earliest Adventures

Wonderschool Conder

Wonderschool’s Early Learning Centre in Conder is a nurturing environment focused on creating connections for your child. Connections with family, little friends and educators but particularly the environment and community in and around the centre.

Every day at Wonderschool is a chance for your child to discover, learn and play through curiosity and wonder, and when it is time for daytime naps we have relaxed spaces for them to have time out. We welcome babies, infants and pre-schoolers (from aged 6 weeks to 5 years) and their families seeking an exceptional learning environment with contemporary approaches to early childhood.

Families looking for child care services in Canberra’s south appreciate our purpose-built facilities at Wonderschool Conder built in 2020 but when they book a tour it is always the expansive natural and rustic outdoor play area, complete with a retro life-size vehicle that gets the kids attention.

Our Conder centre in Tuggeranong, is truly a wonderful place for little hands and big minds to grow. We have 7 separate rooms to accommodate nursery, toddler, playschool and pre-school configurations. For those families who also have school-aged children we are conveniently located a few minutes from Gordon Primary and Saint Clare of Assisi Primary School, to make morning drop-offs and, when the time comes, transition to school, a breeze.

You and your child can find us on Sidney Nolan Street just next door to Club Lime Gym, or please refer to our other Canberra childcare centres for locations near your home or work.

The Wonder Approach

Providing Enriching Learning Experiences that Build Communities

Connecting with our Families

We understand your desire to stay connected with your child and keep up to date with their learning and progress. The use of digital technologies should always enhance learning experiences, and never detract from the interactions between the educators and children.

Our focus is on providing authentic, one-one-one assessments on your child every six months in line with The Early Years Framework (2009). Relationships are at the core of everything we do. We use moments during drop off and pick up to keep you informed of your child’s day.

What Makes us Wonderful?

Enriching learning experiences that help build communities and provide opportunities for children to learn about their neighbourhood, including engagement with local businesses and local walks in the surrounding suburbs, which is a regular adventure at our centres in Canberra. We encourage families to explore our approach to quality care and early years learning framework tailored to each age group – infants, toddlers and preschoolers.

Parents are welcome to come in and share their own skills, such as music education or cultural experiences, with the children.

We are committed to do our part for the environment by utilising sustainable classrooms and teaching the children about responsibility and accountability. We have recycling programs in place along with composting, worm farms and limiting food wastage.

Creative arts are promoted and supported so your child will have opportunities to express themselves through music, movement, painting and sculpture.

All of our meals are made from scratch and cater to all children from our commercial kitchen. The menu is in keeping with Nutrition Australia and modified to meet our children’s dietary and cultural needs.
